The historic Laurel Theater is located on the corner of 16th Street and Laurel Avenue in Knoxville, Tennessee, near The University of Tennessee and downtown Knoxville, in the historic Fort Sanders neighborhood.
The Laurel Theater is a popular choice for weddings, receptions and special events. Originally the Fort Sanders Presbyterian Church built in 1898, this beautiful Victorian structure features stained glass windows, a cathedral ceiling, theatrical lighting, small kitchen facilities with banquet tables, a stage, balcony, and flexible seating for up to 200 guests. The suspended wood floor is ideal for dancing.
